Cambridge Christian Academy Caring for Infants - School Age - Building A Strong Spiritual and Academic Foundation
Infants-We realize how important the first year of your babies life is. We provide a safe, loving environment for your baby to flourish during this year of firsts. We work on and track each infants individual development with activities from our curriculum that focus on techniques to help stimulate brain development. The importance of brain connections during the very early childhood years are monumental to who children will become. You will receive a daily report to keep you informed of your child's daily activities.
Toddlers & Two's- We implement activities that foster self-esteem and independence. Our curriculum, Funshine Express, is geared to help increase gross motor skills and helping children feel secure in trying new challenges. Children at this age start to play in groups and make friendships. Our educators encourage language development and thinking skills by giving your child opportunities for hands on activities.
Pre K- Your child will be involved in age and developmentally appropriate activities throughout the day. We utilize Funshine Express to ensure each child receives strong academic and biblical concepts.
Units of study are implemented for one month to ensure children are grasping each lesson and concept. Children are encouraged to work both individually and in small groups. This will help them to begin to understand working and interacting with others and building relationships.
Christian values are modeled and taught such as honesty, truth, manners, respect, kindness, love of God and many others. We say a prayer at the beginning of our day and at meal times. Bible stories are read and Bible memory verses are taught. These skill and concepts are presented in a fun manner to help create a lifetime love of learning.
School Age- We provide a fun, relaxing atmosphere after school, on holidays and during summer camps. During school breaks, your child will attend field trips several times per week.
We encourage fun activities that allow children to choose from centers such as home-work, arts & crafts, book nook, blocks, board games, computers, electronic games as well as foosball, air hockey at some of our locations.
